Not sure what you mean by wake timers, we use pdq etc. Also if you are disabling the sleep feature then I would recommend that you disable wake timers, as you wouldn't be using this feature. Have you checked the advanced power settings and verified that nothing put the laptop to sleep or hibernate. ![]() Sounds as though there is a secondary setting for putting the laptop to sleep. I heard that some users had experienced that and was resolved in taking the above action.Power options are locked out even as domain and local admin. The steps below outline how to configure the USB root hub to stay on during hibernation, to prevent this from happening. I know some machines have a sleep option in the BIOS.Must admit, have not thought of this.Ĭan you try to changed again your Power Options to balanced and then reboot. If the USB device does not work after your computer has been in extended hibernation, it is likely that Windows has automatically turned off the USB Root hub to save power.
